Fort Amherst – Leaflet

Format: Guidebook / visitor leaflet .

Brief: To create an extensive guidebook (for purchase) that did not ‘dumb down’, but that was family-friendly and fresh and led visitors on an enjoyable, entertaining and informed journey through the fort.

Audience: Aimed at a family day out.

Tone: Engaging, instructive and informative.

Work: Simplifying the organisation and structure of previous guidebook, adapting language to be more accessible, and adding opportunities for interaction. The content for the visitor leaflet for the same project was written in an appropriately concise style and format.

Kaz created the copy for the re branding of the marketing for Fort Amherst. The brief was to create a more family friendly website, guidebook and leaflets whilst staying true to the historical facts.

Kaz conducted extensive research and liaised with the design team. Fort Amherst now has a fresh and engaging marketing suite to rival any other Heritage visitor site.
